EYEBROW TREATMENTS

MicrobladingPowder & Combinations

MICROBLADING

Microblading is a beautiful technique for enhancing brows using pigment implantation, and it can create incredibly natural, crisp results, especially on skin that has never been tattooed before (often called "virgin skin"). However, there are a few important things to understand before deciding whether this treatment is right for you.

Key Points to keep in mind

  •  Initial Results vs Long Term Effects: Fresh microbladed strokes look sharp and defined at first, but over time and especially after maintenance sessions, those crisp lines begin to soften. This happens as your skin naturally regenerates, which causes the pigment to blur slightly, creating a more soft powder brow effect.

  •  Skin Type Matters:  Dry skin tends to retain the hairstroke look longer. In contrast, oily skin or skin prone to redness and flushing tends to break down the crispness of the strokes more quickly, resulting in a powdery appearance sooner.

  • Microblading is a tattoo:  Like all pigment implantation methods, microblading is considered a form of tattooing. That’s why I refer to myself as a *Permanent Makeup Artist*. While top up sessions help refresh the look, pigment builds up over time. This colour won’t simply fade away, it will remain unless removed professionally with laser treatment. Once fully healed, most people can have pigment reapplied if they choose.

  •  Pigment Colour Changes Over Time:

  1. Dark pigments can fade into an ashy tone
  2. Warmer shades may eventually take on a reddish hue
  3. Lightening dark pigment with a lighter shade is not possible, you can't go lighter by layering

  •  Be Informed:  If you’re ever told something that contradicts the above, please be cautious. Microblading and tattooing are not exact sciences, and healing outcomes can vary widely from person to person. It’s important to think carefully before going ahead with any permanent treatment. While I take the greatest care with every procedure, results can never be guaranteed 100 percent.

  •  Your Comfort Comes First :  Client satisfaction is incredibly important to me. I’ll always give you honest, realistic advice, and I will never pressure you into having a treatment. The decision is entirely yours.

    POWDER & COMBINATION BROWS

Powder Brows create a soft, shaded “brow-pencil” effect using a gentle machine technique, giving fuller, well-defined brows that remain low-maintenance and beautifully polished for 1–3 years.

Combination Brows add a few microbladed strokes at the front of the brow for a more textured, natural start, blending the softness of Powder Brows with the realism of microblading for a perfectly balanced finish.

Key Points to keep in mind

    • Powder Brows are perfect for those who want a low-maintenance solution to sparse or uneven brows, with results that typically last 1–3 years, depending on the subtlety of the initial treatment look.

    • Powder Brows work beautifully on all skin types, including oily, mature, and sensitive skin—often performing better than microblading in these cases.

    • Expect the brows to appear darker for a few days before softening. Full healing typically takes 4–6 weeks, and a touch-up may be needed.

    • Aftercare is important (gentle cleansing, no picking, avoiding sweaty workouts or steam rooms) greatly affects the final result and longevity.
